Las empresas tecnológicas de EE. UU. recibieron la mayor cantidad de visas H1B emitidas en el año fiscal FY19. Google recibió 2,111 visas H1B, lo que lo convierte en el principal receptor de visas H1B en el año fiscal 19. Amazon quedó en segundo lugar con 1,612 visas H1B. El gigante tecnológico indio TCS quedó en tercer lugar con 1,367 visas H1B. Tech Mahindra fue la única otra empresa tecnológica india que se ubicó entre los 10 principales destinatarios. Facebook con 1,132 Visas H1B y Apple con 991 Visas H1B también figuraron entre los 10 principales destinatarios de la Visa H1B. 

 

7 companies out of the top 10 recipients were US technology firms. This clearly reflects the Trump Government’s preference for US companies while granting the H1B Visa. USCIS data revealed that the top 10 companies accounted for 12% of all the H1B Visas issued in FY19. The US issued a total of 88,324 H1B Visas in FY19. The USCIS follows the October to September financial year. The US issues about 85,000 H1B Visas per year.
